Founding Partner

Audrey C. Parr, Esq.

Attorney Parr represents the interests of insurers and their policyholders in all phases of first and third-party insurance defense and subrogation matters, from pre-trial investigation through litigation and appeal, and offers substantial experience in a broad range of insurance defense and complex coverage issues. Since 1991, she has specialized in handling all aspects of suspected fraudulent injury and property damage claims on behalf of both personal and commercial carriers, relating to automobile, PIP, homeowners, medical provider, and commercial liability coverage. She is a determined advocate for her clients in their fight against insurance fraud and assists insurers by initiating proactive civil recovery actions on their behalf.

A skilled and respected trial attorney for more than 30 years, Ms. Parr also represents insurers in extra-contractual liability matters involving allegations of bad faith and unfair/deceptive business practices in a variety of forums, including traditional litigation as well as alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Insurers and attorneys often request her services as a neutral arbitrator and mediator.

Ms. Parr began her legal career in the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts, where she spent 12 years successfully prosecuting hundreds of District and Superior Court jury trials involving major felonies including homicide, child abuse, arson, and insurance fraud. This experience laid the groundwork for her current career serving the needs of the insurance industry.

Over the next 15 years, Ms. Parr further developed her outstanding expertise in the defense of insurance matters as a partner at two nationally prominent, Boston-based insurance defense and fraud firms. In 2006, she founded the insurance defense firm of Parr & Parenteau, P.C. and subsequently established Parr Law, P.C. specifically to meet the demands of her insurance clientele.

As a noted insurance fraud attorney, Ms. Parr is often called on to share her knowledge at industry conferences and seminars. Over the past 25 years, she has frequently been a featured speaker for regional, national, and international insurance organizations. She has instructed dozens of attorneys in the art of trial advocacy, taught at the Suffolk University Law School, and trained New England law enforcement and firefighting officials in areas relating to the investigation and prosecution of insurance fraud-related crimes.

Ms. Parr brings passion and a strong sense of justice to her work. Her clients benefit from her exceptional investigative and litigation skills, along with her ability to limit their potential exposure through the timely, cost-effective legal analysis of complex issues.
